Cannabis for Autism: Yet more inadmissible proof.

Jacob, who stays in a house in London with a group of friends and with the kind permission of the owner who is in a home with dementia, needing guardians to keep the house out of the hands of her evil brother in law, has done it again.

This morning he foolishly believed that a small period of non-medication would do no harm. How wrong. That's the problem with cannabis. It's a de-habituant. It makes you give itself up from time to time. Jacob got into an argument with one of those 'I want to help autistic people' types who, rather disgracefully in the truest sense of the word, did the unimaginative and accused our 'cub of a) not being autistic and b) being deluded by cannabis and c) being addicted to cannabis.

Not wanting to come to blows, our 'cub heads out into the streets in search of medicine and, having nearly been run over by a car on the way, finds some easily and fixes the autism problem simply and easily. How easy.

It's a good look, but we can read right between your lines, Orac.

A statement of fact cannot be insolent. Unless that fact, should it become public, is a threat to certain activities and interests.

Orac has a particular Modus Operandus, and a very easy task. It is his self appointed role to de-construct fallacy in medicine. Something he does expertly, wittily, and with great precision and thoroughness.

He and his commentariat have infinite patience and capacity with their adversaries in the anti-pashmina movement. No argument or admission goes un-addressed.

Anything Th1Th2 says is given a certain treatment.

Not so, Jacob and Slartibartfastibast who, with their respective offerings of cannabis therapy for autism and the neanderthal admixture hypothesis for autism...

Why no Orac treatment? Could it be that these two hypotheses are a threat in some way to Orac and friends?

Now let's look at inchantmeant. No, not 'enchantment', just what else could the chant have meant, assuming it was 'recorded' by an onlooker who didn't understand what he or she was hearing then subsequently passed on, written down and later split in the wrong place and reused as 'magic words' or a name for God.

Just as one who chants 'Holy' will find in that chant is also 'Leo', so anyone who chants 'Shiva' will also find 'Vashi', which means 'mind control' or 'enchantment'.

Not content which such images or so sandwiches or some sausages and summer juice, chanting 'images' reveals, amongst other things, my name.

What the hell is going on over there?

Our dear Jacob is nowhere to be seen but there is a new troll, this time a yoga troll attempting to bring some definition to 'yoga' since Orac flatly maintains that all yoga is yoga is woo is woo.

I guess he thinks that cancer is cancer too. He's in it for the naked breasts.

Anyway, if anyone is interested in watching a load of insecure unhealthy people squirming it all started here but where will it end? It is looking like he is making Orac & co look stupid in the way that Jacob did so violently and beautifully.

Personally, I find their regular trolls to be utterly boring and Jacob was the only sexy thing about that blog, apart from Orac himself (every woman loves a bastard, I love 'oops' as well).

The commentariat appear to be at a distinct disadvantage. They have their good names to uphold so they cannot make any mistakes which will damage their professional avatars.

Jacob, on the other hand, clearly does not have the option of keeping his slate clean. Whatever is going on with his 'interesting' mind (which I actually rate, but not enough to want to lay with him), it's not the kind of mind that bothers to keep track of such trifles as the legal fiction of a given name.

He is a man on a mission - to put taboo in front of eyes. The minds behind the eyes can make themselves up. With no good name to protect, he can loose all personal credibility and it will only serve his aims. Drama creates audience. They should have humoured him from the start.

Now how many of the accused are really Jacob, if any of them? Copycat posting must be getting irresistible to the cannabis activist crowd. Keeps the anti-pashmina crowd away too.
